What is a top-up degree?

It is a final-year (or one/two-year) course that converts a lower qualification such as ADP, HND or a diploma into a full bachelor’s degree.

Is a top-up degree accepted for a master’s later?

Yes, once you complete it you hold a bachelor’s degree and can apply for master’s programmes, subject to university requirements.

Can I do a top-up with a 14-year degree?

Yes. Several universities accept a 14-year degree for a top-up route to a bachelor’s or a pre-master’s bridging year.

Is a top-up recognised in Pakistan?
