What is AEO — and what does the partnership mean?
The Australian Education Office (AEO) is IDP’s official IELTS test centre operator in Pakistan, with test rooms in Islamabad (including a location in I-8 Markaz at the time of writing), Lahore, Karachi and other cities. IELTS tests taken at AEO are exactly the same as those taken anywhere else — same format, same marking, same global acceptance.
Abroad In Consultants is an Official IELTS AEO Partner. For our students this means 1–3 free mock tests at the original IELTS test centre — a real exam room, real timing and real invigilation, without the cost of a paid mock.
Why practising at the real centre matters
- See your true level before paying the full exam fee (about PKR 70,000–79,000 depending on provider and version)
- Get used to real timing, the computer or paper format and the testing environment
- Identify weak sections early and fix them with focused coaching
- Reduce test-day anxiety — familiarity is a genuine score booster
- Avoid expensive retakes caused by avoidable mistakes

Through our official IELTS AEO Partner status, our students can access 1–3 free mock tests at the original IELTS test centre, so you experience real exam conditions, timing and environment before your actual test.
Are the mock tests counted as official IELTS results?
No. A mock test is practice only. It gives you a realistic score estimate and feedback, but it is not an official IELTS result and cannot be sent to universities or immigration authorities.
